ADA Lawsuits in Fairfax in 2013 & 2014
As you may already know, several small businesses in Fairfax, one on Broadway and the other on Sir Francis Drake Blvd., have been threatened with or the subject of ADA lawsuits. Settlements have, so far, averaged $25,000 to the plaintiff to settle the suit, plus government fines, plus the cost of renovations to correct the issues.
Generally, ADA lawsuits are not covered by business insurance.
The Fairfax Chamber of Commerce has organized a free two hour meeting with two prominent Bay Area experts in this field. There will be two presentations, each followed by a Question & Answer session with the audience
